Company – Role Breakdown (PDF Link)

Company is a concept musical such that once all the friendships with Robert/Bobby are established, scenes follow as vignettes that do not have a particular chronological order. The focus is on the wonder and dysfunctions of committed relationships. So yes, the play centers on marriages and significant others from the viewpoint of the (so far) successfully single Robert, but the beauty and importance of friendship must never leave the stage.

“Crammed with catchy tunes, yet unafraid to ask tough questions, Company is still the rare musical that will keep you on your toes.” – Theatermania

Actors booked for an audition time slot will be asked to prepare an appropriate monologue no longer than 3 minutes in length and your best 16 bars of a song well-suited for the role you are interested in playing. Piano accompanist will be available. Callbacks will be held on Saturday December 7 beginning at 10AM (Time subject to change. Additional callbacks may be scheduled based on need.)

Company will open on May 29, 2014 and run through June 28, 2014. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays are 8PM shows. Sundays are 3PM matinees. Rehearsals will begin in April (schedule to be determined). All performers in the production will receive a stipend of $300 (flat) for the run of the show. (Travel stipends available for those travelling great distances.)
