About the show:
An incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café. A stranger at the next table who has had enough. And a dead man—with a lot of loose ends. So begins Dead Man’s Cell Phone, a surrealistic comedy that confronts our assumptions about morality, redemption, and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world.
“Ruhl’s zany probe of the razor-thin line between life and death delivers a fresh and humorous look at the times we live in.” – Variety
The show will run from Sept. 3 -Sept. 27, 2015. Performances on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays are at 8PM, and Sunday shows are 3PM matinees. Rehearsals will begin in late July, 2015 (schedule to be determined). All performers in the production will receive a stipend of $400 (flat) for the run of the show. (Travel stipends are available for those travelling greater distances.)
† Sorry, at this point we are unable to work with equity performers.
