Summer Internships
Los Altos Stage Company’s Youth Program is committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion both in our organization and in the performing arts community at large. To that end, our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide opportunities to individuals from diverse backgrounds and/or those who are members of a group that is underrepresented in our industry. While these internships are inclusive of all people, we strongly encourage candidates from diverse or underrepresented groups to apply.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
Dates: June 7th-July 11th
The first 3 weeks of the internship will focus on our Summer Programming Series including our 1/2 day “Heroes and Villains musical theater camp and our “Triple Threat” audition Workshop. The final 3 weeks of the internship…will focus on our in-person youth production of “Starlight Express”.
Focus areas will include:
- Arts Marketing- 1 position
- Company Management- 1 position
- Stage Management- 4 positions
- Sound Engineering- 1 Position
- Props/painting- 2 positions
- Camp Counselors- 2 Positions
