Los Altos Stage Company is holding open auditions for Cyrano – A new adaptation by Max Tachis and Jeffrey Lo

Los Altos Stage Company has partnered with Max Tachis, Jeffrey Lo, and Maria Giere Marquis to develop an exciting new adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac with a small ensemble cast. This play is in active development.

Audition Date: Monday, August 19, 2024 from 6 PM to 9 PM 

Where: Grant Park, 1575 Holt Ave, Los Altos

Callbacks: Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Rehearsals: Weekly Monday-Thursday, 7-10 PM and Saturdays 2-5 PM. Tech week rehearsals Monday-Wednesday 6-11 PM. First rehearsal Monday March 3, 2024.

Performance Dates: Wednesdays-Sundays, from April 10 through May 4, 2025. Wednesday-Saturday performances start at 8 PM. Sundays start at 3 PM.

Audition Requirements: Please prepare one contemporary monologue and one monologue in verse, 3 minutes total

It is preferable that you audition in person, but if you are unable to make auditions, video submissions will be considered.  Please fill out the audition form and send your video to rebecca.lasc@gmail.com.  Callbacks must be in person. 

Actor Acknowledgement: A $15 meal reimbursement will be provided for rehearsal and performance days to which the actor is called up to a total amount of $500.
